Judy Wicks, a national leader in the local living-economies movement, will present the Center for Environmental Farming Systems’ 2008 Sustainable Agriculture Lecture on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the North Carolina Museum of History in downtown Raleigh.
Wicks is the co-founder of the Business Alliance for Local Living Economies (BALLE) and the founder of Philadelphia’s famed White Dog Café.
The lecture, presented by Burt’s Bees and sponsored by SYSCO Corporation, is free and open to the public.
