Chapel Hill-Carrboro Holiday parade – The annual parade down Franklin Street to Main Street has featured bands, floats, loud cars, firetrucks and, occasionally, a trained chicken. 10 a.m. to noon 

Christmas Cantata – St. Paul A. M. E. Church will celebrate its 31st Christmas Cantata on Sunday, December 9, 2007 at 4:00 P. M. 101 N. Merritt Mill Road.

Holiday Storytelling with Donald Davis – Donald has been visiting Fearrington to spin his tales for over 16 years and is one of the foremost storytellers in the country. Guests are asked to donate cans of food which will be given to Chatham County’s CORA group (Chatham Outreach Alliance).
