Advertised as a mash-up of Saturday Night Live, A Prairie Home Companion and the Grand Ole Opry, The Murphey School Radio Show should appeal to an audience with a taste for variety.
Georgann Eubanks will serve as the ringmaster for the night’s entertainment, which will include novelist Lee Smith, musical group Gigi Dover and The Big Love and public radio icon Frank Stasio.
Tickets to the show are $50, with all proceeds going to the Community Home Trust and Housing for New Hope, two agencies that address affordable housing and homelessness in the Triangle.
The historic Murphey School will stage two performances, starting 7 p.m. on Nov. 12 and 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 13,
