SPOTLIGHT: The Zombies

The Zombies are bringing their British psychedelia to Cat’s Cradle on Sunday, July 29.

Perhaps you were obsessed with “Time of the Season,” “She’s Not There” or “Tell Her No.” Maybe this obsession was in the ’60s, or later, but chances are you can’t forget this English rock band’s chilling vocals.

Characterized by their addictive sound depth and echoing melodies, The Zombies have left a mark in the music world. Their 1968 album Odessey and Oracle ranks 80th on Rolling Stone Magazine’s list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone continue to lead The Zombies forward. They received strong reviews on their latest new studio album, Breathe Out, Breathe In. This tour will mark the 50th anniversary from their beginning in St. Albans on Easter 1961.

Fellow Travelers will open the show. Don’t miss this chance to catch a legendary performance. The doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8. Get your tickets in advance for $32 or the day of the show for $35.
