Club Boulevard Humanities Magnet School has historically had a very strong PTA. Since we have become a magnet school in 1994, our parent participation has increased. The PTA membership has grown as well as the number of parents participating as members of the PTA Executive Board and Standing Committees.

The PTA maintains their focus on the students and supports the school's mission and magnet theme in all of their endeavors. They are able to keep a balance between fundraising activities and events that celebrate and enhance the opportunities of our students and staff.

In addition to the traditional PTA work in the classrooms, last year the PTA sponsored the following events:
    Fund Raisers
    PTA Dinners
    Spring Fling
    Teacher Grants Volunteer Tea
    School Book Fair
    Teacher Workday Breakfasts and Lunches
    Teacher Appreciation Week
    School-wide Performances
    Courtyard and Grounds Clean-up
Parents volunteering at Durham Bulls and Duke Basketball games
New Playground equipment from Open Space Grant
