From the saffron paste on the tips of Kamala's (Lakshmi's) breasts    O one whose incomparable blue body is forever tinged red
kamalAyata-lochana                 lOkapate                vijayI        bhava    vEnkaTa-Saila-patE
O one with long lotus-like eyes    O Lord of the worlds    victorious    be       O Lord of Venkata Hill

sa-caturmukha-shaNmukha-pancamukha                                       pramukha-akhila-daivata-maulimaNE
By the four-faced (Brahma), six-faced (Kartikeya), five-faced (Shiva)    O crest-jewel on the heads of all these foremost gods
SaraNAgata-vatsala                                  sAranidhE             paripAlaya    mAm    vRsha-Saila-patE
O one who is affectionate to those who surrender    O ocean of essence    protect       me     O Lord of Vrusha Hill

ativElatayA         tava      durvishaih    anuvEla-kRtaih          aparAdha-Sataih
By the countless    to You    unbearable    constantly committed    hundreds of offenses
bharitam       tvaritam    vRsha-Saila-patE         parayA          kRpayA        paripAhi      harE
I am filled    quickly     O Lord of Vrusha Hill    with supreme    compassion    protect me    O Hari

adhi-vEnkaTa-sailam    udAramatEh                    janatA-abhimata-adhika-dAna-ratAt
On the Venkata Hill    of the generous-minded one    who delights in giving more than what people desire
paradEvatayA            gadhitAn      nigamaih        kamalA-dayitAn                          na     param               kalayE
as the supreme deity    proclaimed    by the Vedas    than the beloved of Kamala (Lakshmi)    not    another superior    I consider

kala-vENu-rava-avaSa                           gOpavadhU-Sata-kOTi-vRtAt                                 smara-kOTi-samAt
captivated by the sweet sounds of the flute    from the one surrounded by hundreds of crores of Gopis    who is equal to crores of Kamadevas
prati-vallavikA-abhimatAt           sukhadAt            vasudEva-sutAn              na     param               kalayE
who is dear to every Gopi maiden    the giver of joy    than the son of Vasudeva    not    another superior    I consider

abhirAma-guNAkara                 dASarathE             jagat-Eka-dhanurdhara               dhIramatE
O mine of delightful qualities    O son of Dasaratha    O the one archer of the universe    O one of firm resolve
raghunAyaka          rAma      ramESa                        vibhO                   varado          bhava    dEva     dayA-jaladhE
O chief of Raghus    O Rama    O Lord of Ramesa (Lakshmi)    O all-pervading Lord    a boon-giver    be       O God    O ocean of compassion

avanitanayA-kamanIya-karam                                            rajanIkara-cAru-mukha-amburuham
Whose desirable hands are held by the daughter of the Earth (Sita)    Whose charming lotus-face is like the moon
rajanIcara-rAja-tamo-mihiram                                              mahanIyam       aham    raghurAmam       ayE
Who is the sun to the darkness of the king of night-wanderers (Ravana)    the glorious    I       to Raghunatha    resort

sumukham                        suhRdam          sulabham             sukhadam        svanujam                          ca     sukAyam                  amOgha-Saram
The one with a pleasing face    a good friend    easily accessible    giver of joy    with His noble younger brother    and    with a beautiful body    and unfailing arrows
apahAya          raghUdvaham               anyam        aham    na       kathancana    kancana    jAtu    bhajE
Leaving aside    the best of the Raghus    any other    I       never    in any way    anyone     ever    worship
