O mistress of the Lord    O one inclined to give what is dear to Your dependents

blows     gently     the breeze    with    divine fragrances

the remnants in the vessel    of banana fruits and sweet pudding
bhuktvA         saleelam     atha    kEli-SukhAh        paThanti
having eaten    playfully    then    the pet parrots    are chanting

tantrI-prakarsha-madhura-svanayA                   vipancyA
With the sweet notes from the excellent strings    of his Veena

bhAshA-samagram              asakRt        karacAra-ramyam
in comprehensive language    repeatedly    with delightful finger movements

The swarm of bees    and    filled with the juice of nectar

with humming musical sounds    along with    for service
niryAti           upAnta-sarasI            kamala-udarEbhyah
are coming out    from the nearby ponds    from the hearts of lotuses

yOshA-gaNEna              vara-dadhni            vimathyamAnE
By the groups of women    the excellent curds    being churned

in the abodes of the cowherds    the loud sounds of churning curd
rOshAt              kalim        vidadhatE       kakubhah          ca     kumbhAh
As if with anger    a quarrel    are creating    the directions    and    the pots

friend of the lord of lotuses (the Sun)    the swarms of bees on the lotuses

to steal    the beauty    of the blue lotus    with the beauty of their own bodies
bhErI-ninAdam-iva               bibhrati           tIvra-nAdam
like the sound of a war drum    they are making    a loud sound
