Sing Hallelujah

I wrote this to the tune of a 19th century folk song “Skillet Good and Greasy” I loved the melody but I thought these lyrics were more uplifting .

[C] Well I’m headed up to Heaven
Gonna see all my friends
[Em] Sing [Am] Hallelujah
[Em] Where time [Am] never ends
[F] Sing Hallelujah [G] where time [C] never ends

[Chorus]
[F] I’m gonna sing [C] Hallelujah
[E] Sing [Am] Hallelujah
[F]Sing Hallelujah [G] where time don’t [C] end [X2]

[C] Well I don’t know
But I have been told
[Em] The streets [Am] up in Heaven
[Em] Are paved [Am] with gold
[F] The streets up in [G] Heaven are paved [C] with gold

[CH]
[C] Well if He says so
I ain’t gonna doubt no more
[Em] I ain’t gonna doubt [Am] no more
[Em] Till the end [Am] of time
[F] Ain’t gonna doubt no [G] more till the end [C] of time
[CH]
